Secure your website with a FREE SSL cert

FREE SSL Certificate

When Google’s Chrome browser version 62 is released this October, warnings will be shown onscreen to indicate if a website is not secure (a non HTTPS connection).

This is all part of Google’s movement to help bring a more secure browsing environment and helping to protect the privacy of its users.

Currently websites which are not delivered over a secure connection are shown with a neutral grey exclamation mark symbol but Google’s long term aim is to highlight all websites which are not secure.

Chrome SSL change

It’s obviously very important to provide as much security as possible for your visitors but the negative effects of your site being labelled as “Not secure” may negatively affect their confidence in using your website and deter them.

All our clients receive a FREE SSL certificate as part of their hosting package.

All new websites are setup to be served over HTTPS by default. If you have an older website we can enable HTTPS but your website may require some tweaks to fully secure the website. If in any doubt please get in touch.
